Why speak at Texas Unites?
Texas Unites is the largest regional animal welfare conference in Texas, bringing together professionals from across the industry, including municipal agencies, animal control, nonprofit organizations, veterinary services, and beyond. The conference provides opportunities to strengthen education, foster collaboration, and support community focused efforts that advance animal welfare throughout the state of Texas.
Texas Unites is a valuable opportunity for emerging leaders and first time speakers to grow, share their expertise, and connect with professionals across the animal welfare community.
Up to two speakers per session will receive complimentary conference registration.

Speaker Proposal Process
Submissions are open for speaker proposals for Texas Unites until October 2nd. All speakers will complete the following.
- Review the Speaker Proposal Packet to review all the guidelines for submissions.
- Complete the Submission Form & Submit your proposal and speaker(s) biography
Speakers can submit up to (4) proposals.
Speaker Selection Process
Once submissions close on October 2nd, the Texas Unites team and advisory committee, made up of leaders from across the animal welfare industry, will carefully review all proposals. A limited number of sessions will be selected and added to the conference agenda.
All applicants will be notified of their submission status in early November. While not all submissions can be selected, some may be identified as alternate sessions and considered should additional speaking opportunities become available.
